How Hiptrix Drumsticks Work

In the past, visual effect drumsticks have been clunky and inefficient. Every previous attempt

Hiptrix Drumsticks work by absorbing light. To activate the glow, first expose Hiptrix sticks to a light source. We call this “charging.” Then, they’ll glow. Especially in the dark. They’ll glow until they’ve released all of the ultraviolet (UV) light they’ve absorbed, and then they must be
“recharged.” They can be recharged indefinitely.

The type of light source you use to charge the sticks will determine how bright the sticks glow. The more UV content in the light, the better your results will be. For best results we recommend charging with a UV blacklight, like a common 18” blacklight tube fixture, but it isn’t necessary.
