CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS
The basic idea behind Hiptrix Glowing Percussion products is very simple: They’re
powered by light. Before they can glow, the sticks must first absorb some light. This
light can be provided by any one of a wide variety of light sources. From the sun to a
household light, you can use most any light to power your sticks over and over, for
years to come.
However, light sources with higher ultraviolet (UV) content will provide the best
charge for your sticks.
Our recommendation is to use a fluorescent UV blacklight tube fixture, or other
similiar light source. Although not necessary, this will allow you to achieve the most
amazing results from our products. These lights are affordable, and easy to find at
party stores, many big-box stores, and online, as well as at our online store.
To “charge,” simply expose each and every inch of your Hiptrix sticks to the best
light source you can get your hands on. Then, take the sticks into a darkened area,
and prepare to electrify your world!
NOTE: Different Hiptrix Colors exhibit different glowing properties. See our
COLOR CHART for specific color properties. Once the charge has worn off, sticks
must be recharged.
